2026 vs. 2027 Paint Colours: What's Next for Your Bathroom Vanity

Every fall the big paint brands reveal their colours of the year, and this year the story is a green one.

This year: Sherwin-Williams named Universal Khaki, a warm, grounded neutral, its 2026 pick. Behr went with Hidden Gem, a smoky jade, and Valspar chose Warm Eucalyptus, a calming green with warm undertones. Next year: Sherwin-Williams and HGTV Home picked Celery, a light herbal green with warm yellow undertones, for 2027. Behr's Grounded is a rich olive, and Valspar's Cottage Door is a grayed-out blue with warm undertones. Benjamin Moore and Pantone had not yet announced theirs at the time of writing.
